I think that everyone has a place they hold in special esteem. The one place, above all the others, where they find inner peace and truly feel at home. Mine is a small beach resort on the southern coast of Africa, called Herolds Bay. It is a small compact beach, facing the southern Indian Ocean, with tall cliffs flanking the beach on either side running out into the sea, with a stretch of golden sand, with some rocky sections and surrounded by hills with natural vegetation.
 
Herolds Bay is more than a place to me, it symbolises the good things in life: The things I love.
 
I therefore decided to use Herolds Bay as a theme to a website, that is all about seeing the world through my eyes - a visual world, filled with those special moments, places and faces that I have been fortunate enough to encounter.
